Bluejay

She was working on an experimental flight suit that would allow easy transport of equipment from the base to the top of buildings that were under construction. They needed an expert with advanced load bearing wing designs and she the one of the brightest in the field of research.

She designed the wing to be very thin but still have the strength and lift of more sturdy designs. The prototype was entering the test phase and, as designer, who better test the hyper-wing.

That's was when she found out that it was not the government that she was working for but a secret criminal organization. She did not know what to do, the test was due in thirty minutes. She decided to do on with the test, but to make sure that the wing failed.

She "crashed" the suit, and her research was no longer wanted. That night her lab caught fire and the hyper-wing was stolen, she could not allow the technology to get out. While investigating the fire they discovered her treachery and set about hunting her down, but then they learned that she was using the Battlesuit for her own purposes. They decided to use this to their advantage.

They knew who she was, and more importantly, they knew where her family lived. The would have her do "jobs" for them, or else.

Bluejay has to do what they say or they will kill her familiy, she cannot afford to go to the authorities as they are watching her. She hopes to find a hero that would listen to her instead of fight her, but she still has to attack, just to make it look good. So far every hero she has come across believes her attacks to be in earnest
