Wearing simple robes, Cinzia would seem another simple merchant wife.  Her gentle gift allows her to pass unnoticed even by animals as the powerful flame mage she is.  Born to a prosperous merchant family in Palermo, Cinzia was to learn soon that her family was not all it seemed.  Her father was a powerful diabolist, who had impregnated his wife with infernal seed. Cinzia was the result.  She is immune to all harm, and has strong contorl over flame.  However, at a young age her family were found and tortured to death by the inquisition.  Her mentor, Crendellus of Catania, used his connection to spirit the young girl away from the suspicions of the priests, and hide her diabolical nature while tutoring her in the Ars Magica.

Today Cinzia lives in fear of the diabolical powers she feels might be searching for her, and the power of the church she feels would destroy her if they found her.  She also knows that she is immune to harm, and yet is aware that she is ageing.  she worries she might be like the Sybil, who was immortal yet grew older and older until she was just a shrivelled husk.  as a result she is strongly motivated to find potions of youth.

The stat system is pretty odd here - everything has to add up to zero.  I'd like it more if thee was some leeway to get advantages without too many corresponding disadvantages, but that's just the power gamer in me.  Magic is pretty cool in this game, and the point buy system is a little complicated in regards to ensuring spells aren't overpowered for your character.  Nice little game.
