This is a character for the Chuubo’s Marvelous Wish-Granting Engine game After Light.

Irma started out as a bright-eyed inquisitive young girl poking her nose into various mysteries big and small. As she spent more time as a magical girl fighting the machinations of the King of the Void, she began to investigate the nature of the foe she was fighting.

She learned many things that helped in the battles and some things that no one was meant to know.

Just before the Final Battle, Irma believed that she was on the trail of some piece of knowledge that would help defeat the Void once and for all. In the end she learned a lot about the Void. But her investigations left something terrible within her. And she can't help shake the feeling that The King of the Void wouldn't have been about to bring such ruin to the world if she had just let some secrets be.

Now she grimly ponders the secrets of this new world and the roll she may have played in bringing it about.

Powers

Sanctuary (The Halls of Twilight) Miraculous Action, Major. You can retreat from the world in The Halls of Twilight by drawing a half-circle on top of a horizontal line (like a sunset/rise) on a door. Anyone can enter by drawing the mark on the front door of [insert locally important/symbolic building].

MP Bonus (Touched by the Void) Arc rating is added as a bonus to your starting MP

Falling from the World

  • Anytime you have 1+ points in the Sickness Issue, the curse makes something unpleasant for you. Starts minor and escalates.
  • If Sickness 1+ and 0MP you have 3 choices:
    • Someone used a miracle with [Strike>= your Sickness] to help you out.
    • Something happens to paralyze you/render you ineffectual
    • If neither of the above happens, you must flee to your Sanctuary at best possible speed.

The World-Breaker’s Hand (Whispers of Doom)

  • Miraculous Action, Bleak, Research and discover a shareable and infinitely advantageous weakness
    • 0MP, 1/book, declare something unmade
    • 1MP, unmake something a second or later time per book
    • 2MP, unmake something a second or later time per chapter

Arc Power: Sickly

Princess of Light

Irma knew the Princess of Light as a high school student originally from Hawaii a few years older then her who had a habit of poking into places she didn't belong and illuminating things people were trying to keep secret. Often with a strong mischievous streak. The Princess was Irma's best friend, who brought her out of social isolation and taught her not be afraid.
