Background

Born around the same time as Entrapta, Arundhati was a regular girl who used run with the others playing games and mending dresses. One day a Horde scout team climbed the mountain finding Arundhati and her two best friends. They were soon captured and Arundhati grew into a giant before tearing the vehicle in half. The scouting team retreated and Arundhati was brought to the castle where she was made a Duchess and taught to help protect her people.

Arundhati has spent the rest of her life trying to live up to this honor, studying everything Entrapta's parents could teach her about leadership, before they were gone. She is vigilant, always "on duty" watching over her people and settling disputes that need her attention. She even had her castle turned into a scouting point to be used when she's in her larger form. When she gets reliable reports that there is no Horde presence nearby, she's been known to lend aid to whatever groups have been willing to take the fight to the enemy.

Her Duchy

Arundhati's Duchy exists in a glen located in a crown of mountains within the territory of Queen Entrapta, with Entrapta's castle on one side, and Arundhati's on the other side. Mostly closed off from the rest of Eternia her duchy is an odd mix of old and new. Despite being a large area, everyone either directly knows or knows of one another due to their isolation. The peasants, farm and churn their own butter and hold market and raise children, but also receive the cast offs from Entrapta's experiments.

While there are plenty of smaller animals, there are none larger than a goat, with varied robots replacing beasts of burden. It is unsurprising to see a small spider robot skittering through town to deliver a message and for blacksmiths to do double duty, both forging plows and repairing cogs and wiring. There's one snake-like robot they often use to chase gophers (it used to repair wiring in the castle), and one robot that is used to spin children whenever there's a festival.

The citizens feel very safe and almost doubt the Horde even exists. They tend to be super eager to know more about strangers. Most hesitate to bring disputes to Arundhati due to the cold logical manner in which she settles issues, as if she has no regard for the feelings of those involved. Everyone Arundhati grew up with still lives in the Duchy.
