  • Dagger
    • A dagger is a forearm length weapon. It is a Short weapon, specializing in close fighting. It is able to be sheathed and is able to be concealed, with some effort. Of note, a dagger is a combat weapon. It is not a knife.
    • Fighter Special: A fighter armed with a dagger is considered to have closed with an opponent with a Medium or Long weapon on the 2nd and subsequent rounds of combat. The dagger wielder always gets a first attack against those opponents. The attack and damage are completely resolved before the opponent gets to attack. Additionally, a fighter wielding a dagger gets a second full attack against foes with Long weapons each round, unless those foes forgo their attack. They don't get a defensive bonus in exchange for that action.
  • Hand Axe
    • A hand axe is a short, well balanced weapon primarily designed as a thrown weapon. A hand axe is a Short melee weapon. It has a thrown range of 10"/20"/30".
    • Fighter Special: Fighters are able to throw this weapon at an opponent while that enemy closes to melee or the fighter closes to melee (on the run), and then engage in melee on the same combat round with that opponent. In melee, the hand axe is a Short weapon that can be used in close combat at advantage over Long weapons. On the 2nd and subsequent rounds of melee, the fighter resolves the entire attack with the hand axe against opponents with Long weapons.
  • Javelin
    • A javelin is considered a Medium length melee weapon. It is destroyed after one round of melee. It has a thrown range of 20"/40"/60".
    • Fighter Special: Fighters are able to throw this weapon at an opponent while that enemy closes to melee or the fighter closes to melee (on the run), and then engage in melee on the same combat round with that opponent.
  • Mace
    • A mace is Medium melee weapon designed primarily to damage heavily armored opponents. It is a one handed weapon.
    • Fighter Special: A fighter wielding a mace does half damage against a heavily armored foe when they miss by 1 on an attack. The Referee will rule when a creature's carapace, scales, or similar count as heavy armor for this purpose. In addition, a fighter wielding a mace will resolved melee attacks against opponents with Long weapons first on the second and subsequent rounds of melee.
  • Sword
    • This is any sword wielded in one hand. It is considered a Medium length weapon. A sword can be sheathed.
    • Fighter Special: A fighter wielding a sword resolves attacks against opponents with Long weapons first on the second and subsequent rounds of melee. A fighter equipped with a sword and shield always gets the AC bonus of the shield if the fighter sees the opponent.
  • Battle Axe
    • A battle axe is a one handed weapon, designed specifically for combat. It is considered a Medium weapon.

  • Spear
  • Shield
  • Polearm
  • Two Handed Sword
  • Lance
