Third Sable Hunter Elem Everen[edit]

Forgotten.jpg

Race: Forgotten

Bennies: 3/3

Wounds: 0/3

Fatigue: 0/2

Dust: 77

Expert Forager (+1): The Forgotten are taught from birth how to use every scrap of the environment in order to survive. They begin with a d6 in Survival.

Stealth and Espionage (+2): The Forgotten learned by necessity how to hide from the worst predators on Auriga. Turning that skill against their enemies has proven equally useful. The Forgotten begins with a d8 in Stealth.

Infiltration (+3): Through the use of Dust, the Forgotten alter and mask their appearance in order to infiltrate other societies to plunder both resources and technology. The Forgotten can use the Disguise power at will, using Smarts for their casting die.

What's Mine Is Mine (-2): Having little compared to the other major factions of Auriga (due to having to steal most of it), the Forgotten hoard Dust and resources voraciously. The Forgotten begin with the Greedy Major Hindrance.

Edges[edit]

Hunter: Novice, Agility d8, Stealth d6+, Tracking d6+ Hunters are adept at tracking and pursuing their prey in any terrain. Hunters add +2 to Stealth rolls and Tracking rolls.

Two-Fisted: Novice, Agility d8+ Everen isn’t ambidextrous—he’s simply learned to fight with two weapons (or both fists) at once. When attacking with a weapon in each hand, he rolls each attack separately but ignores the multi-action penalty (see page 66).

Hindrances[edit]

Enemy (Second Builder Napog Duada) [Minor]: Napog Duada's niece was a rival Sable Hunter of Everen's, and was caught, tortured, and executed in a joint infiltration into a Drakken city. Duada has become convinced that Everen wasn't just at fault, but orchestrated her capture for his own advancement.

Greedy (Major): measures his worth in treasure. If a Major Hindrance, he fights over anything he considers unfair, and may even kill for his “fair share.”

Overconfident (Major): There’s nothing out there he can’t defeat. At least that’s what he thinks. He believes he can do most anything and never wants to retreat from a challenge. He’s not suicidal, but he certainly takes on more than common sense dictates.

Wanted (Drakken Nation) [Minor]:

Powers[edit]

Disguise: allows the character to assume the appearance (but none of the abilities) of another person. The character cannot emulate someone more than 2 Size levels different from themselves. It requires a Notice roll at –2 to see through disguise if someone is familiar with the specific person mimicked; the penalty increases to –4 with a raise. If unfamiliar, the penalties are –4 and –6 respectively.

Aspects[edit]

Third Sable Hunter of Yulin (High Concept) Elem Everen is an assassin of the Forgotten, hunting people and intel, insinuating himself into situations, and removing strategic obstacles of his faction. He's scraped his way to his current station, but has to outmaneuver two more experienced and better connected rivals before he can become First Hunter.

I Can Get Out of Any Scrape (Trouble) Everen is overbearingly confident that nothing, and no one, can keep him from his objectives. As a consequence, he often gets in over his head.

It's Always Good to Have Friends Everen knows the value of connections, both at home and in the field. He cultivates good relationships, and can call on them in times of need.
