She was a nurse stationed in Kiev when the blast happened. As one of the first on to the ship, she started pulling bodies from the ship, she even saved Bomb. As she worked her way deeper into the ship she came across a ... man / thing tearing the reactor apart by his bare hands trying to stop the reaction. As she stood stunned with what the thing was doing a blast of radioactive steam hit and vaporized her.

She was floating off, watching the fire rage below her. She was still conscious though, was it supposed to be like this? She then floated back down to earth and re-solidified. She had super powers.

After in "training" by the Interrogator she was assigned to Mass Reaction. She is the most liked on the team and, if not for Ringer, would be the leader of the team. That would be something that everyone on the team would approve of
