- Joey Brennan, the big brother-type foster kid that taught Amy how to play guitar. Also the school bad boy.
- Richard and Caroline Brown, Ashley's mother and stepfather. Mr. Brown is an antiques dealer and a historian, and likes to talk local history with Wade Chamberlain. They keep in shape with weekly classes at the Dance Studio, and are friends with Lillian Maxwell
- Vincent and Thomas Brown, Ashley's brother and stepbrother.
- Eli Chamberlain, Adam's dead older brother. He was a pillar of the school community; captain of the football team, senior class president, insanely popular. And being a genuinely good guy, everybody loved him. Also, there's a permanent memorial to him at the side of the road, right at the spot where his car flipped.

Bit Parts
Locations
- The Chamberlain Farm has been in the family for generations. It has been split and parts sold off over the years.
- The Choir Room, which Amy sneaks into occasionally to play and sing.
- The Country Club, where Dorian and Phyllis Gray are members. The land it is on used to be part of the Chamberlain farm. Lauren is also a member, and the Search Committee is now after Warren
- The Dance Studio, where Fiona practices every day. Richard and Caroline Brown go to dance classes there every week.
- Dell's Office, a cramped little room adjoining the band rehearsal room
- Grandpa's Garage, where Warren likes to hang out and pore through old vinyl.
- The Mall, where Ashley likes to hang out. Lauren is a big spender there.
- The Old Barn, on Grandpa Chamberlain's land, where Adam goes to be alone. Amy sometimes comes there, too, for much the same reason.
- The Overlook, a huge hill overlooking the town. It reminds Warren of the city, where you can look out over things from a tall building. There is an oak tree at the top which should have Ashley's fistprint in it.
