Griffin Gate

Over the gateway sits a massive triangular lintel with a pair of bas-relief regal griffins carved upon it. They stare outwards, guardians of the city (or thus they would stare had unnamed thief and vandal in Surlt's past refrained from stealing the golden heads of the carvings). The gate can be sealed with a pair of massive wooden valves.
