He was always better then anyone else. It came to a surprise to him that their were others that were so far beyond where he was. He got a job as a chemical researcher working for the smartest man in the world, or so he said. At first he thought that the man was all talk but he was brilliant.

One day they were talking about the news and superheroes, his boss seemed to know alot about the subject. His boss asked him if he would want super powers, of course he would. There was a small smile on his bosses face.

The next week he was supposed to work on the radiation treat projector and the thing blew up. He survived the blast and better still he now had the super powers to control Heat and Light, he was in fact better then anyone else again. He decided to test his powers on his boss and, to his surprise, his boss was not impressed. After a long battle it was his boss that was more powerful. He told him his name was Prism and that together they would rule the world.

Hotshot is indebted to Prism for giving him powers and will follow the man to the ends of the Earth.
