Invictus

He was the great American boy. Top of his class, captain of the football team, prom king, he had it all, but it was not enough, he wanted power. He was a student of history, he studied The Roman Empire, that was the type of power that he wanted, he wanted to be named Emperor of American, an empire that would encompass the entire globe.

In order to be embraced by the public he would have to garner pubic support. He looked to the Superheroes and decided that it would be the easiest way to go. He had his blood tested and found that he had the possibility to become a mutant, he took it.

He now is a very public superhero, though in private he lives his live much like the Emperors of old. He is a complete phoney, in public he is noble, humble and considerate. He always has someone to take the fall when something ... unsavory, comes out about him, and he goes on smelling like a rose. He hopes to become powerful and popular enough to be elected President one day. He does not wear a mask or an "eccentric" costume, as his pubic relations people have told him that the pubic does not trust men in masks and a simple t-shirt and blue jean outfit will move him "closer to the common man"
