Background

Jonall was born in the town of Boldhome, the son of a merchant. Growing up he always seemed to be uncannily lucky and this allied with his intelligence has made him confident and egotistical. He apprenticed to the free sages at 16 and was enlisted into the militia to protect the town. Always seeking new knowledge led him to join the cult of Lankhor Mhy. However his confidence has led him astray and after insulting the commander of the town watch he has found it sensible to leave Boldhome on a caravan to Pavis. He is wary of fellow Sartarites due to his fears of retaliation from his enemies in Boldhome and he seeks status to protect him and earn forgiveness for his acts in Boldhome.

Traveling to Pavis he has fallen in with the guards of an Ernaldan Priestess on a quest to the Paps and finds himself becoming an Acolyte of Lankhor Mhy for his services to the temple at Pavis.
