The party learns of a series of murders being committed in the Irontown and Colosseum Districts of Avis Armois.  The murders appear to be the work of a zealot of the True Faith of A'Salam, with religious symbolism and Jhonian weapons found at the scenes.  The murders are resurrecting old prejudices amongst the Athernian locals against the Jhonian minority of the city, and the party is asked to investigate.  The party uncovers that a were-creature is actually behind the murders, using the sewers below the city to gain access to houses.  They track the creature down to learn it is the son of one of the leaders of the Athernian mob, one Ymkir Soki, who has infected a warrior, Yehor Sava, and enlisted him into the cause.  The party finally confronts the wererats in the tunnels and manages to kill Yehor, but Ymkir escapes, vowing revenge.  The party and their landlord, Madame LaPointe, adopt Ymkir's younger brother, Othio, who is orphaned after Ymkir killed their own father. 
 
 
While investigating the tunnels, the party finds an area where Fariya and Violet both experience extreme unease and nausea.  Investigating, they find a cave-in, which they manage to clear to reveal ancient halls decorated in Jhonian art and architecture.  They battle a number of creatures, including several powerful undead, and eventually clear the area.  The Mullah al-Dajani from the Blue Mosque in the Embers joins them to purify and sanctify the ruins ending the adventure.
