To cultivate his own humility, Li often travels as a beggar, although a relatively clean beggar, or a Daoist monk. In such cases, his Jian is strapped across his back under the baggy clothes.

Li is on the tournament not to steal, however. He is there to win the prize with his sword, palms and hooks!

Li San He isn't three cranes, but people that see him fighting sometimes think of the crane. If only he could triple during a fight, he would be representing his name! Li is a mild-mannered, polite and impartial young man with a jian on his waist. He seems to dislike using it, however. He's part of the Falling leaves society by family tradition. Thus it's surprising that he's actually a pretty good thief. That is, until you realize that stealing from the people that didn't earn their fortune isn't such a bad idea. Some people with "new money" just need a lesson in humility from time to time... It does create enemies, but who in the Wulin has no enemies? Li is on the tournament not to steal, however. He is there to win the prize with his sword, palms and hooks! Unless they leave it unadequately guarded or something, that is.
