Maul

He was plain a simple a con man playing confidence games on the streets of San Diego. It was his way of making a living, until the police came after him. He was forced to flee south of the board and ply his trade there. There was not the money making possibilities here that there was up north, so he switched his game.

He became a leader of expeditions to the ancient ruins, most of his "clients" where tourists that were too stupid to read the signs printed in Spanish. As he was out leading a group he actually did find something worth finding, a city full of riches that nobody else had ever found.

He killed the others in the tour and set out to loot the city all by himself, at the cities center he came across the giant club sitting on an alter, he snatched that too and he was instantly changed as was the long lost city of gold.

The gold was gone, but now he had the power to find more, and the power to take it. He will not work for money, only for gold. If the job includes stealing from a bank he will DEMAND that any gold taken be his. Gold is what he lives for.
