Setting

Out on the hunt for his new animal companion, midway to his destination, out in the woods under the afternoon sun.

Eranon

Eranon stops running west. He looks up to the sky to guage the time of day, hoping that he will make it to the edge of the plains by sunset. He reaches down to his belt and pulls up his waterskin. He narrows his eyes and looks at the empty waterskin. He raises his hand to draw a symbol in the air.

"With Aryth's blessing" he says.

The waterskin slowly fills up with water. (Create water) Eranon takes a drink and puts the waterskin back on his belt. He looks up and walks over to a nearby tree. He quickly pulls himself up to a low branch and sits down, taking a short rest.

After a few moments, Eranon shifts and hears a clanking noise. He looks down to the pouch that made the noise and reaches into it. He withdraws the small golden spyglass from Vrolk's tower and looks at it. He pulls it open and looks through it. . .
