She was at a board meeting, meeting with her competition. They wanted to buy her out, how foolish they where. It was a simple matter to see their plans before they even voiced them.

She has had he mental powers for as long as she could remember and they always showed her the right course of action. In business they had allowed her to climb the ladder like a rocket. It was always a simple matter to look into the mind of her boss and know exactly what he wanted, if it was not possible, well, there was always blackmail information located in the recesses of their minds.

What she loved about her powers was they operated without the subject knowing, unless she wanted to get violent, then they showed, but when you could control people with your mind, how often do you need to get violent?

The board meeting was over soon enough, her rivals had just agreed to allow her to run their company in the wake of their "retirement". It was like taking candy from a baby.

As the business world had lost the spirit of adventure that she craves, she goes out at night and tries to learn all she can about the underworld, she hopes to learn their secrets and acquire their "assets" on the cheap. If she encounters a hero she will try to learn all their secrets, even their secret identity
