Muramasa[edit]

"The I/D project must continue."

Appearance[edit]

The original physical description I posted was 'imagine a killer death robot designed by Apple'. Think of a cross between the robots from Black Magic M-66, the I Robot movie and the All Is Full Of Love music video, with some influence from Eve and FT as well. Outside is all white ceramic plates with black detail, with transparent high-density plastic at the joints so you can see the mechanical and electronic bits inside. Face is mostly featureless except for the eyes, which usually glow with a soft blue light but turn red in combat mode. Has a forcefield generator in the chest and a retractable vibroblade in the left forearm. About the size of a slender human male (or a tall female).

Brief History[edit]

Muramasa only appeared on the supervillain scene about a year before the invasion. Origin is not generally known, but is presumably linked to that of Masamune, a robotic superhero of the same design who went public shortly beforehand. Muramasa's pre-invasion career was notable for its complete lack of regard for human life, property damage, or indeed anything else apart from its nemesis. Muramasa's usual MO was to endanger civilians or threaten a public building in order to provoke Masamune to get involved, then attempt to spring a trap or defeat the heroic robot in a duel. The two of them were predictably well-matched, with neither ever able to score a decisive vistory over the other.

Masamune was allegedly destroyed along with the rest of the heroes when the V'sori arrived.
