Nimue: The Great Tree
The physical structure of the Wildwood Academy is a great central tree trunk easily twice or thrice the size of the largest sequoia, with papery white and black bark surrounded by a grove of seven satellite trees half the size of the main tree bound together with walkways of woven boughs. All the trees are live and magically hollowed from within.
All trees below described from root to crown moving upwards.
Central Trunk (birch or alder)
The root cluster of the central trunk houses the kitchen and pantries of the school.
The feast hall is housed on the ground level of the tree.
Above the feast hall is the great hall and the headmaster's office and quarters.
Above this are layers of core classrooms on several levels with the library still higher and the observatory above the library.
Grove Trunks
Oak
Oak trunk is the home of Bear Hearth. It's root cluster houses their private kitchen and pantries
At ground level is the visitor's commons, where family and students from other hearths may seek out and hang out with the Bears.
Above this is the Bear common room and above that the boys and girls dormitories.
At the top of the tree is Loremaster Colton's suite.
Yew
Yew trunk is the home of Hart Hearth. It's root cluster houses their private kitchen and pantries
At ground level is the visitor's commons, where family and students from other hearths may seek out and hang out with the Harts.
Above this is the Hart common room and above that the boys and girls dormitories.
At the top of the tree is Loremaster Longshot Smith's suite.
Rowan
Rowan trunk is the home of Bee Hearth. It's root cluster houses their private kitchen and pantries
At ground level is the visitor's commons, where family and students from other hearths may seek out and hang out with the Bees.
Above this is the Bee common room and above that the boys and girls dormitories.
At the top of the tree is Loremaster Kewanee's suite.
Willow
Willow trunk is the home of Wolf Hearth. It's root cluster houses their private kitchen and pantries

Above this is the Wolf common room and above that the boys and girls dormitories.
At the top of the tree is Loremaster Vladovich's suite.
Elder
Elder trunk is the home of the remaining loremsters. It's root cluster houses their private kitchen and pantries. Elder trunk is forbidden to students. Loremaster offices are adjacent to their classrooms in the main trunk.
Holly
Holly trunk houses the weird rooms of the grove. Storage for dangerous items, a room similar to the room of requirement at Hogwarts. Students are forbidden from this trunk except when accompanied by a loremaster
Sycamore
Sycamore trunk houses the main stables, animal care, and the wildwood hospital. The ghosts of the wildwood haunt the upper dormitories of the Sycamore.
