• Mistress Silvastri: A gnome wizard (Illusionist 5) who lives in town. She has a few apprentices among the children in town.
• Sheriff Brod Gunnath: A Wolf-kin ranger (Monster Slayer 7). Sheriff Gunnath is nominally the law in the village, as the duly appointed representative of the Council of Mayoralties. He fought in the Demon War until he lost his right leg below the knee (he has a steel prosthetic than he uses to walk around). Only in his mid 30s, he still manages to come across as world-weary. He prefers to defuse trouble whenever he can with a few words rather than have to fight. He's handsome enough, but so far no one has managed to capture his heart (not that a few haven't tried).
