Roth Fairhand is from another port town, sent by the leaders of the temple to see whether Husbaleve’s temple can be recovered, or at least to salvage anything left of its archives. While the Dedicates of Markem are expected to be able to help in any of the roles when needed, Roth hopes someday to rise in the hierarchy as an Archivist.
Roth is a slender young man of below-average height. He’s more notable for his interest in everything and everyone, and his habit of noting each conversation in a journal, in a space-saving temple shorthand. Because he listens so intently, people tend to like him...
