For this game was a Dark of Occult inspired supers team. Heroes can be of any origin (the game will be set in Emerald City see WIKI one year after the Silver Storm. The city have few metahumans here before the Strom but now there are hundreds. Many are Stormers, as they are called, but others have been drawn here).

Manor House base

Advantage: Mentor - The base is managed by an exceptional individual. He or she might be a butler, a retired super hero, a beloved relative of one or more of the team, an incredibly advanced AI, an alien presence, or even a ghostly spirit. The GM should create an appropriate Wild Card character and use him or her to support the team in their adventures. At the start of each session, randomly choose one player character. Continue to do so each session until every player has been chosen once, then start again.

That character may recite a brief tale of the mentor’s guidance or inspiration to gain Conviction that must be used on some action relevant to the anecdote. If the Conviction isn’t used by the end of the adventure, it’s lost.

Complications: Intruders - The headquarters is frequently invaded by creatures from other dimensions beneath the earth, the spirit world, etc. The :may sit above an old burial ground, uncharted tunnels, or portals to another world.

The foes occasionally find their way in to cause trouble, steal equipment, or even attack. They may be molemen, demons, a subterranean race, beasts from an adjacent dimension, ghosts, or a rogue AI.

Form: Manor House

Upgrades: Occult Library - Masters of mystic arts can consult the rare tomes kept within this powerful library. Those allowed to access these texts add +2 to their Occult rolls.

Character Creation

Standard Novice character creation per SWADE core pages 9-11 (but with setting rules below for More Skill points and Multi Languages along with characters can take up to 6 points of Hindrances instead of 4).

From the Supers Companion using the Super Power level of III (45points) but I want to kind of limit the Power Limit to 10 points (or with the Edge “The Best there is” increase for one power up to 15 points).

GHOST TOWN

Game setting and first adventure…

Recognizing that Emerald City needs heroes, especially of the more mythical bend, Eldrich, Earth’s Master Mage and mystic guardian of this dimension has approached each of the heroes individually along with , local philanthropist Maximillian Mars, billionaire CEO of MarsTech, has put his wealth, resources, and influence behind an effort to cultivate and support superheroes in the City of Destiny.

Together they are providing those willing to take up the challenges awaiting them with both mythical and high-tech support and a headquarters along with government backing provided by American Elite Government Intervention Service (AEGIS).

Emerald City needs heroes! Will you answer the call?

For the first game/adventure the heroes are called to their new headquarters where they will meet Eldrich’s ally and friend and the team contact Doctor Clock for their first mission. He has detected a mythical threat at the Midnight Museum (the city’s Native American Cultural Center and museum of local and regional tribes) this night.

During his beefing a call comes over police radio about a break in at the museum but tonight is also the first night of Sound and Fury, Emerald City’s annual music festival, and the E.C.P.D. is focused on maintaining order at the rowdy opening concert and they are expecting a long delay before they can deal with the situation there. A terrible rain storm has blown in early tonight (it is 2am when the heroes are summoned by Dr. Clock) is complicating things for everyone.
