Naming the Scum

With 5D6 rolls generating all the numbers you need to know for your Scum, you'd think it'd be impossible for character generation to take a lot of time.

If you have the right sort of players though, you can find that they'll get hung up on the only detail they have any control over: character name.

Despite the fact that this game warns specifically against thinking too hard about this, you'll find that creative habits die hard, and the pace of your game can get fatally slowed.

To avoid this, the author of this game recommends the 10-second deadline. If the player can't name his Scum in ten seconds, then force a roll on the tables below.

To roll on the table, roll a D6, then rollt he D6 again, then read off the selected name.

For example: for a male name, a roll of 2 followed by a roll of 4 would result in name 2-4: Weasel being selected.
