Taran was always a curious sort. This, coupled with a youthful idealism, was what ended his career in the Imperial Navy, an engineer working with a Stormtrooper regiment. He had seen, to his horror, the massacre of civilians, and he had seen the cover up afterwards, and the newscasters version of events. He needed to know what else was going on.
