Stinger

Studying insects in the Amazon sounded like a dream job to him, and it was, they were a lot of bugs to study. He was on a hike when he saw an insect that he had never seen before, he took off after it and followed it deeper and deeper into the jungle. After following it for about an hour it landed on a branch, it was a beautiful bug, if you like that sort of thing. He was about to put it in a jar and take it back to the campsite when he was attacked by a swarm of them, he was stung over a hundred times.

He ran from the swarm, but soon the toxin in the stings got the better of him. He stumbled and fell into a water spring. Over the next few days he would sip at the water, unable to move as his body fought off the toxin in his blood. The scientist did not get up from the spring, Stinger did.

The spring contained some strange mixture of chemicals that acted with the toxin in his blood and turned him into a mutant. He now is out to make a name for himself and supporting himself though a life of crime. He met and joined the brothers and the three named the group The Destroyers.
