Totem: Raccoon

Rank: 4

Gauntlet: 4

Type: Cunning

Bawn: Through the mountains surrounding the lake, off the Lake Range where one is prohibited from entering, in a line of trees and rocks, passing there leaves the intruder with a sense of "someone is watching" them. Garou and the like are urged to howl greeting, which is returned. Those that don't are quickly discovered by the large unhappy Native American Warder.

Living Area: About half a mile beyond the edge of the bon is a ring of semi permanent and permanent homes for garou and some kin. These range from small personal homes, to tents, to ti-pis and such. There is a central fire area where people gather on a casual level away from the assembly area, and a building made of stone and wood that houses the elders, their kin, and the libraries of garou stemmed tales, most of which are in process of being backed up with modern technology by some trusted galliards.

Carern Heart: Tall standing stones in a semi circle around a fire pit marks the heart. The stones are blank faced, naturally cut and standing, the fire pit is lit through moots and other times of importance.

Assembly Area: The assembly area is a large shallow pit, in the center there is a log used for the center point, all around the slope is the seating area. This area easily accommodates everyone at the sept as well as quite a few kinfolk. The area has trees surrounding it blocking out the sky and providing ample cover in poor weather and cold. The center most point can also be used for a large fire for moots.

Grave: The Pyramid Lake Sept don't bury their dead, they usually cremate and spread the ashes in the forests around the caern to fertilize the land for more life to grow.

Shrines: Through a small thicket of trees, in the branches are shiny bits collected and placed in the trees to honor the great spirit, other smaller trees hold items of importance to other spirits as well.

Council Elders

The elders are a group of three to thirteen Athro (rank 4) or better ranked garou that oversee the spiritual, political and even militant needs of the sept. This caern varies in size as the weather permits, as does the number of Elders.

The warder is the equivalent of the sept's head of security. His word is law when it comes to protecting the sept and the immediately surrounding Brewery. The Warder's words can even override the council's in time of danger. He can not demand packs to do missions outside the caern, but he can demand they stay behind in times of war.

Master of the Rite

The master of the rite monitors all rites performed at the caern; it is her duty to ensure that no one calls upon powers that would be dangerous to unleash within the caern. One would need her permission to do a rite in the caern and she usually is as hand to make sure nothing goes wrong.

Gatekeeper

The gatekeeper is in charge of any moon bridges opened in or to the caern. His responsibilities usually means he has to stay in the caern and places him in a unique position that leaves him at the heart of any political machinations involving other septs.

Keeper of the Land

The Keeper of the Land is the caern's caretaker, who is entrusted with the duty of keeping the caern's lands well maintained. Not all tribes see the need for such office but some spirits value a well tended caern.

Master of the Challenge

Is one sept member challenges another its the Master of the Challenge that oversees the clash. It is his job to ensure no duel goes too far and to impartially judge any challenges of gamecraft, riddles or test of character.
