Stepping through the trump to a space between wooden rough buildings, an alcove in the back of buildings, open to the air, with no other entrance but a wide door. The smell of the ocean is strong, smoke and water, fish., plantlife. The sky is a darkening purple on toward evening, casting purple shadows Vek smiles, "Ah.... the smells of home. This was the first world i spent time on after i had assayed the Logrus and been given a bit of slack on my leash. I learned to sail here. To fish. I had come through it on one of my travels before and liked it. I went to a Chaos way called the Remainders. A slave market. I happened to be there on a paper day. Thats a day where the slave markets are filled with scholars and scribes, tutors, nannys, household servants the like. It was in one of those places i found a slave that was being held over till the next day. A meat day. A day when cattle of all kinds are brought for the tables of the great an small. I found Chasa there. He was going to the stew pots and was pretty depressed about it. He was playing his guitar as if he was savoring the last times he would make music. He played a jazz riff, with chaosian influences... It caught my attention. There was some business acquiring him. I don't usually buy slaves but the place was on the trail i was following anyway. He manages my affairs here."

Amber Bronkhorst

When they step through Alvah looks around with curious eyes. She listens to Vek his tale about how this place came to be and about Chasa. She looks sideways to Vek with a raised eyebrow "Doesn't matter where you go i suppose there is always people oppressing other people and slavery. But what luck for Chasa that you found him the moment you did. " She inhales deep smelling the air. "Hmm ocean, though still it smells different, it does so in every shadow i suppose. " She then looks at the sky and smiles "Ah yes purple it is. love the color!" She winks to Vek "so where do you wish to go now? Do you know where Salaka will be?"

Michael James Watson

He laughs, "Well, we go through that door or over the roofs. I took this place for my trump because its out of the way. We do some brewing out here. Some other work. Salaka will come wherever i call him" Entering through storage rooms, drying rooms filled with hanging fish. He pinches a small dry fish and eats it whole, smiling.

Michael James Watson

"We should get in character. " He casts a small low order spell changing his clothes into brown jeans black short and green overshirt. Brown hat with a green band. He sticks his iron pipe through the band. Her clothes shifts to the image below

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah can't help but chuckle "get into character.... " then seeing him change his clothing she nods just looking Vek over up and down for a bit. "Well i know at least that Gon here would love to have a taste of what brews here. And i promise no barfights." Noticing her own clothing changed she clicks her tongue, looking down at herself. Then does a small shrug "well that works, i'm surely blending in, though i cannot fish and sailing has been to many years ago i did that last. But how do i look?" She does a twirl and a curtsy.

Michael James Watson

"You look the proper flirtatious lusty fisherman's daughter! As for picking fights, there are a couple toughs that could use a walloping. I'll tell you when they show up. " Walking through the backrooms to the opening of the general room. He turns and speaks quietly to her. "By the way, i may not have mentioned it before but since you did I will now. While reputation is important among the Dufiro, it is considered impolite to use their name in public. There are some nuances of course. The difference is between bound and unbound. "An unbound, like the one in Cicero, you can use his name because he is voluntarily inhabiting Cicero. He will hear you and may present himself at his choice, or leave on his choice. He pulls his np knife, moving it casually. "A bound one should not have its name spoken, even a part of its name, because such mention gains its attention. But they are bound and during the term loose their identity. Using their name wakes them from their bound sleep. Dufiro who are bound in service, that you will not be talking to, such as the one in your tankard, or the one that will be in my knife will sleep, providing powers agreed on. Its just a guideline. Some people brag about the Dufiro they have bound but that becomes part of your reputation as a client. Just something to think about."

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah does a pretend shocked look as Vek comments on her appearance "Ah good thing i am already taken then. " She ends her sentence with a flick of her hair. "As for people who need a good beating. I'll restrain myself to the ones you point out then. " She looks at her tankard and nods "right i got it, i'll be more careful about that then. So used to them just hanging about, like the elementals and the one i Cicero. Whom name i still do not know. Someone doesn't want to tell me... " She then looks on into the general room where they had stopped. Her eyes go back to Vek, "lead the way. i would say."

Michael James Watson

He steps into the open room and flings the dagger with his full might at the bartender. He leans back and catches the knife in flight. Spining it he throws it back. Vek catches it. Chasa yells, "ALL RIGHT!!! NEXT ROUND OF DRINKS AND CHIPS ARE ON THE OWNER AS THE MASTER OF THE HOUSE RETURNS!!" The crowd cheers, looking to the door as Vek enters, leading Alvah along by the hand, "I SEE HOW IT IS! RUNNING THE PLACE INTO THE GROUND!! GIVING AWAY OUR PROFITS TO A CROWD OF NERDOWELLS??? WHAT KIND OF TRASH ARE YOU LETTING INTO MY PLACE!!!!I'LL HAVE YOU WHIPPED WITH TUNA BONES!!!" Chasa "SCOUNDRALS AND WRECKERS ALL AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT YOU CAN SHAG A SHARK!!!

Amber Bronkhorst

Going from a silent conversation between them to Vek and Chasa yelling to each other has Alvah flinching for a moment. Being led into the room by her hand she smiles at the apparent liveliness in this place. Walking half a step behind and next to Vek she just looks around watching people. The type of folk that seem regulars here and after that she takes a long good look at Chasa. Vek afterall had spoken alot about the man. And Alvah was more then a bit curious. She offers a warm smile and holds her free hand in greeting.

Michael James Watson

He leans in over the bar. "Chasa Birbiglia, this is Alvah Delwindóttir. She'll be warming my bed for a time while we are here." The frail look man bows his head, "Till she wises up and discovers that you are a disreputable drunkard?" Behind the people at the tables, perhaps 30 are starting to pound the tables. Vek nods, "Or finds more disreputable company. She's a born thief so watch your rings." He smiles,' Thanks for the warning but i took my rings off the moment i saw her. I know your type. So Alvah Delwindóttir, welcome to Bajas..." The volume of the pounding rises.

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah inclines her head politely. "Pleasure to meet you Chasa, and thank you. But perhaps he wises up first and sees what kind of fury and drunkard i can be." She grins wide to Vek. "And what kind of woman do you think me of? Running off with the next rough man that shows slight interest in me." She does a exaggerated hair flip in an attempt to look insulted. THen turning slightly to look at the people pounding the tables. "Guess they are expecting something."

Michael James Watson

Chasa smiles, "They are." He flips up on the bar, pouring three large tankards of a hard porter, spiked with bourbon, He brings his guitar out. A finely polisher 16 string guitar and starts plucking. Crossing his ankles and sitting on the bar Vek steals a quick kiss and turns, jumping up ont a table and singing

Michael James Watson

(below the lyrics emotes continue) "My band of soaks, my den of dissolutes My dirty jokes, my always pissed as newts My sons of whores (no, no, no, no not tonight) spend their lives in my inn Homing pigeons homing in They fly through my doors And they crawl out on all fours Welcome, Monsieur, sit yourself down And meet the best innkeeper in town As for the rest, all of 'em crooks: Rooking their guests and cooking the books Seldom do you see Honest men like me A gent of good intent Who's content to be Master of the house, doling out the charm Ready with a handshake and an open palm Tells a saucy tale, makes a little stir Customers appreciate a bon-viveur Glad to do a friend a favor Doesn't cost me to be nice But nothing gets you nothing Everything has got a little price! Everybody bless his spouse! Everybody raise a glass Raise it up the master's arse Everybody raise a glass to the Master of the House!" The crowd sings along in places and clearly enjoys the singing./ People come in from the wharf outside throughput the song as Vek proves his skill as showman. The parts sung by the woman in the piece seem to be sung by all the women present, looking like hard working woman drinking at the same rate as the men, A couple tavern wenches keep mugs full adn baskets of fried fish moving.

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah looks at first slightly surprised, but quickly she just smiles and sits at the bar enjoying with the rest of the people and where she knows the words she sings along. ( though i suppose with her theatre knowledge she might know Les Miserables.) She claps and sings along letting herself being pulled along in the enthousiasm of Vek his showmanship.

Michael James Watson

(i would assume she does as well and him bursting into song while a bit surprise, but maybe not as she thinks about it)

After the song he hops down and gladhands people he clearly knows well. Some he speaks to softly. Chasa says to Alvah. "Welcome to Bajas, m'lady. Its a pleasure to see him so lively. The last few times he was here he came in ruined from the road. He came then to sleep, to hide. I assume its your sunny nature that has him singing? Are you on the run? Will you be here awhile? "

Amber Bronkhorst

Looking at Vek with a look of love. When she hears Chasa she turns and smiles "He seems happy yes, he really wanted to show me this place. And no we are not on the run, we are not hiding, he just has some things to arrange and i am just happily tagging along." She then looks slightly unsettled, hearing Chasa say that about Alvah her influence she then quickly waves it away with her hand and laughs. "i doubt this is my doing, i usually don't make people happy. " Her eyes then go back to Vek smiling as he greets and talks to people. She then adds in a soft tone, "but i do hope he can keep feeling this way for a good while, it suits him."

Michael James Watson

Chasa says, "Many things suit him. Mercy and cruelty. He comes from a broken home, but then who doesn't?" He swings an arm behind and around her, bringing the guitar int her lap. "You must be musical. Play the bass line, a easy 3 chords, I'll handle the rest." Vek launches into another loud active song with Alvah and Chasa playing the same guitar

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah looks cautious at Chasa for a moment she then nods hearing his instructions. Playing the assigned chords Not being that well skilled in guitar she just does as best she can. She can't help but smile and laugh as Vek goes on in song again. With her tongue half sticking out with her focus she mutters. "I should have picked up guitar instead of percussion. If you had a bodhran or something... " But even if this is not her instrument she does happily play along and enjoys hte fun.

Michael James Watson

Vek goes through a dozen songs and the place get more and more full. They clearly all know them and it strikes Alvah how different he is with the people here as with the quiet village of Veksvale. She is reminded that he considers himself a musician first of all things After the singing he talks to the crowd as he comes over to the bar. Chasa spins his legs over the bar, swinging Alvah along till they both land feet down behind the bar. He starts pouring drinks, and lets Alvah hands the bottle pours as Vek speaks to the tavern wenches and wanders into the kitchen

Amber Bronkhorst

A raised eyebrow look at Chasa as she is immidiatly put to work behind the bar but she does what needs to be done. Alvah loved her time how short it might have been working behind her own bar. She works quick and graceful as she always seems to do, with so much song and joy in a place she can't help but let her step be light and bouncing. For a moment she looks back to where Vek moves off to and then focuses on her bartending again. "So this singing and music and such is normal here? except for the times you spoke about earlier of course.." She asks in a more quiet tone to Chasa

Michael James Watson

Chasa nods," The realm is close to Chaos and close to a cluster of Urth worlds. He spent time in the circus among them. Has he told you that? 50 years as a performer. Jazz of course, theater, clubs, rodeos, circuses, where evry he could perform. It was how he learned to be social after leaving chaos. It was before he found me"

Amber Bronkhorst

Slight nod "He had mentioned it, in passing so to say when talking about his past. He told me that he had been searching for a long time, and running. Though seeing him here so happy and showing his musical side again.. it is a thing of beauty." Pouring more drinks she continues "but a place does not have to be close to Chaos to be musical does it? i'm not from these parts but music and dance have been a big part of my life. " A soft chuckle "actually where Vek might have said that i am a born thief... i am more a born dancer. thieving happened a few years later." She winks and tends to the orders.

Michael James Watson

"By close to Chaos I mean chaotic things are common. I was once the court fool to Swayvil till i dishonored one of his daughters. Its amusing that you are a dancer. You'll love the world. People sing and dance all the time. Someone starts singing, others become the chorus, they start dancing...its a musical world. In between dance number of course they live there lives and love their loves. " " It can be a violent world but people in this town have come to learn to leave our wharf alone. Vek made quite a song and dance out of the local syndicate when they tried to put the arm on him. Guns, knives, bows, even explosives they are used to. Abyssal demons devouring them was a little beyond their ken. Singing and dancing abyssal demons eating their bosses to a heavy bass metal sound was enough to keep then out of our section of town. We run protection for spoils. We aren't greedy and no one bothers our customers. He has a Lord's Portion of Hendrake bonewarriors here. Every so often they make an example of some medium level thug. Just the sight makes the native criminal element nervous. “His recruiting was phenomenal. knives and archery, Acrobatic and strength attacks, Ballet and gymnastics. Juggling and package tetrus. Singing voice and dramatic acting skills. Familiarity with musical theater. A really niche market that all covers...”

Amber Bronkhorst

"Ah yes, Vek had told me about you, a bit here and there. but with all the bits combined i got a part of the picture. And how you were in luck that he came by the day that he found you. " She smiles a soft smile showing she doesn't mean malice with it. "Violence, music and dance. hmmm i should have gone here instead of Veksvale. although that would mean this place would change. that would be a shame." Getting more familiar where everything is at the bar she starts to loosen up more in her pouring the glasses tossing a bottle up and catching it. the barshow thing. Just for fun.. "Bone warriors, i heard that term more often. but have absolutely no idea what to imagine with that. The closest i have been to Chaos is... well Vek. " A soft chuckle.

Michael James Watson

"Bone Warriors. Every house of Chaos has their elite warrior bands. The Bone Warriors are Hendrake's. Master warriors, hunters, killers. "

Amber Bronkhorst

In silence she nods. staying silent for a bit. Then looking back to the kitchen. "So what is he up to anyway? You think he needs help in the kitchen?" Alvah looks at Cicero for a moment then smiling she turns to Chasa "Is it alright if i let Cicero hunt for rats or mice here? guess he is hungry and i don't want a cranky snake on my shoulders."

Michael James Watson

"Of course. LEt him go. Plenty of rats out on the wharf."

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah takes Cicero from her shoulder and places him on the ground. "There you go, have fun happy hunting and behave. " Standing up again she smiles at Chasa. "Thank you, i always rather ask before letting a snake loose between people."

Michael James Watson

"We don't have a lot of snake eating hawks but i am willing to bet yours could handle itself against a bird of prey"

Amber Bronkhorst

"Good to know, " Alvah leans forward watching Cicero slither away. "and yeah he can handle himself well enough. " She smiles back at Chasa then gestures with her head to the kitchen. "So you think Vek will be back or did he disappear in the kitchen?"

Michael James Watson

"Give him an hour. He needs to take a look at the books but mainly he tells chef to cook something just to make sure he can cook anything well. Anything on our menu anyway"

Amber Bronkhorst

"Alright,, was just wondering if he hadn't run off on me. But testing the chef is important. Someone i had a bar and restaurant with tested the cooks all the time. she is a bit of a.. perfectionist when it comes to her recipies. " Leaning against the bar Alvah smiles thinking back to the short time in Jetex "Heh was fun though, i ran the bar, she did the restaurant. And now and then i was allowed to cook as well. I made things sometimes to spicy... not all patrons liked that. " Grabbing a drying cloth she starts to clean the glasses as almost on automatic pilot. "Probably very different then from the food here."

Amber Bronkhorst

After a bit of silently working Alvah her eyes go to the guitar Chasa had been playing on. She then smiles a playful smile. "So anyone can just start song or dance and noone would bat an eye... How good are you on that guitar? as in what styles do you play?" She turns now fully to Chasa and has her haughty dancers look on her face. "Could you play FLamenco? Its basically a tango type of music but with more rythm. "

Michael James Watson

Chasa says, "In my experience rat tastes like rat nearly every place I've gone. Some more gamey then others maybe but that depends more on the rubage and insects they eat." "How good am I on it? I'm a fair bit better then then expert. Ive played for my supper and played to save my life. If you feel like it feel free to jump up on the bar and start a dance. The world will make these wretches follow along in step. They could use some rigorous exersize. And I play and excellent Flamenco. So, lead off and lets see what happens!"

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah laughs at his remark about rats. "well it is all about hte seasoning with rats to be honest. just add enough herbs and spices and it is only the texture you need from the rats. " Her smile grows bigger as she hears Chasa his suggestion. She takes two spoon from her bodice, where ever she got them from. (klepto for spoons still ) And stepping lightly on the bar she nods to Chasa and starts with a quick tapping of her heels. introducing the begin steps of most flamenco dances. If Chasa follows with the music she will allow herself to just loose herself in the music and mostly dance. As it really has been a long while since she danced.

Michael James Watson

SHe hears clapping and an appreciative audience. She sees them getting drinks and sitting to watch her dance and enjoy the show. After a bit Vek comes out with a chef, They share a toast and Vek takes a seat and watches thill Alvah slows. He recognizes when she just needs to dance. Though after awhile she sees that others are not falling into step with her. THey seem apprecitive but not as if they are joining the act or dancing to her step. Chasa comes and sits next to Vek, tankard in his hand, watching as well as playing guitar along for Alvah.

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah might not be the best musician around. But dancing she knows. As long as people seem appreciative she dances her heart out. Going from a flamenco to a slower pace of a tango her movements more flowing instead of the abrupt moves of a flamenco. Though she keeps the rythm with her steps and the spoons she uses as castanets. Seeing Vek watching she smiles big, feeling free and relaxed in her dance. Worries pushed back and away in her mind. At a point she seems fitting she ends her dance. Does a little curtsy and winks to Vek.

Michael James Watson

The crowd cheers enthusisatically. Vek sweeps her into his arms for a sip, settling her into a stuffed chair in his corner with he and Chasa. Chasa nods, "She is quite a dancer, sahib"

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah laughs as she is being swept of her feet. She nestles in the chair a healthy blush and happy smile on her face. Turning to Chasa she says "Told you, not a born thief.. but a born dancer.. trained thief.." With that she frowns and takes the spoons from her bodice and lays them on the arm rest with a slight shrug. "well seems people enjoyed it. "

Michael James Watson

Chasa says, "They did indeed. Though i hazard to suggest they were hoping you would peel a little more." Vek laughs, "I haven't had peelers in here for decades. Wrong kind of crowd." Chasa smiles, "Ah Sahib, you couldn't get peelers to come back after a few of the fishhanded sods here left them smelling of haddock and herring! "

Amber Bronkhorst

Raising an eyebrow she laughs "peelers... well that is a word for it. and it should be a common rule when someone does that type of dance. no touching." She leans a bit more back in the chair and goes with her hand from side to side as she talks. "Now are we talking full on stripper or burlesque dancing? Though veil dances can be fun to you know... its all a matter of taste, i suppose." Alvah then quickly adds. "not saying i am offering here to go stripping. Just saying there are different types and tastes of stripdancing. "

Michael James Watson

Chasa says, "Chaos is diverse in its pleasures and perversions, midam"

Amber Bronkhorst

"Well at least it will be less quickly boring, diversity is not a bad thing, Chaos or not." Turning to Vek she smiles still with that relaxed happy smile on her lips. "Thank you for convincing me to come along. Really happy you did. So far this place is really great!"

Amber Bronkhorst

After a bit and a drink Alvah stretches her arms above her head and with that playful spark and grin on her lips she looks again to Vek. "Sooooo are those that you talked about here? Those that might need a.. how did you say it walloping? Apparently i have energy to burn."

Michael James Watson

Vek looks at Chasa. Chasa says "Croxa hasn't been here in a year. Seen him over on pier 33. Outside our jurisdiction. I hear he opened his own place." Vek says, "Dear, would you like to take a walk and look in on a few of the lovely local sights?"

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah already partially sliding out of her chair. She nods "That sounds lovely. " She then stands with a little hop. Turns to Vek and smiles "Where to love?

Michael James Watson

Vek takes her out onto the wharf and leads her arm in arm among the crowded working space. Ships are being unloaded with the catches of the day. Tuna, crab. They have lobsters the size of large pigs. They also seem to harvest sharks Vek stops and talks to a shark fisherman and he makes a date to go fish sharks the next day. Many people wave and greet him. It has a similar friendly feel as Veksvale. They treat him like the local godfather. Merchant wives come out and he shares jokes with them. Introduces Alvah to everyone. A frail woman gives her a string of crafted beads made from fishbones, sea stones, and beach glass. The place is huge, several city blocks of wharfs, apartments, canneries, drying sheds, craft spaces and merchant stalls. A major area does rope making and net making. Another is a ship repair facility. Finally he stops at a small dock with a small but fin sailing sailing craft. a personal yacht.

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah enjoying the walk with Vek. She loves how he is with people. How they all seems so familiar with him and Vek with the people. At his arm she will just listen and observe, see how the people are hear what keeps them busy and what they discuss with Vek. When she recieves the string of beads she thanks the woman gratefully. Admiring the colors and the textures. Looking at the sailboat she looks at Vek "So i assume this is yours? Looks like a fast one. "

Michael James Watson

"Yes, its the Mead Barrel. Its a single mast sailboat. Its nonmagical so its sunk several times. Its a bit bigger then most solo sailor craft but i like it. Ive towed it behind bigger craft when ive traveled. But it can make it nearly anywhere on this world.

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah smiles looking at it, "That is fantastic! Not the sinking just all that you and it went through. Did you also travel through shadow with it? " Looking up at Vek she smiles "So you really love to sail, you did mention it before. What made you decide to learn sailing?" Staring at the sailboat and then the water she smiles "Will you take me out one day?"

Michael James Watson

"One day? How about tomorrow? There should be lovely rough sailing weather. Great fun. Ah... Here we go." Across the dock Alvah notices that less and less people come up to greet Vek, and eventually none do but they watch him walk by. In time she notes a few start following at a distance. He walks into a tavern decked heavily with nets and ship pieces. The furniture looks like its all been salvaged from ship wrecks. He walks to the bar, making people move away from the bar, a couple exiting. The bartender comes over, a big man, looking like a shadow of Gerard in size and almost in facial appearance. "Hey, Goerge! Hows business?" He says, "It was good till you got here." Vek smiles, "Have you gotten your shipment from my brewery this month?" He says,"Ya. Beer, Wharf Wine, fried rolls, sea snake. Why Did you not talk to Chasa today? We are a month behind on the cuff but Chasa has let us slide that long before." Alvah sees a group of rough fisherman come in and take seats by the door. "Great Goerge. Just great. Actually Chasa says you are two months behind. So, my guys are in back dropping off next month's shipment." He looks at Vek with a flat face, "Thats...ah great... but why? Its early."

Vek smiles, "Call us even. Alvah, see the big guy with the eye patch over his ear. He vexes me. Have at"

Amber Bronkhorst

With a big smile she looks at Vek, “It has been a long time since last I’ve been sailing. For fun I mean. Was even before I joined the marines dad and I last went out. You really know how to plan a good time.” She teasingly bumps her hip to his. Following Vek to the tavern she looks around. Really liking the rough ambiance. She is looking about as Vek arranges business with the Gerard look-a-like Goerge. Hearing then her name and Vek describing the guy a more predatory grin appears on her face. Her head slowly turning to the big guy with the eye patch. A spark in her eyes shows a side she has not let out in a while in Veksvale. Not there was a need she was happy content and safe there. Without a word she slips of the barstool and with an elegance of a stalking feline she circles slowly towards the big guy. Her eyes stay focused on the man But she knows by now she is watched as well. She wants to be watched now. When she gets closer she lets a slight sway enter her step letting it appears as a stalking dance. When she is close enough to the guy and he has noticed her. She starts a pirouette and at the right moment and momentum she stretches out her leg and aims her foot and the side of the guy his face. Finishing her twirl she plants both feet on the floor and looks at the guy challenging.

Michael James Watson

He looks down at here, "Well, guppy, you looking for a job that pays better then Vek pays his fishslits? Talk to Goerge. He get you a Slit Billet in back, and two meals a day. All the sailor you can drink. Pays good too." Vek yells, "Don't forget! Lead with the mug!"

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah looks up at the man she tilts her head and frowns. "Guppy? Is that how you talk to women? You must never had the touch of a willing hand then..." Hearing Vek his yelling she slits her tankard from her belt and looks at it... "OH RIGHT! THANK YOU!" | She feigns a move that she wants to turn to Vek but instead at the last moment steps in And whacks the guy with her tankard on the side of his face with all the strenght she can muster. With a grin she says "Don't call me guppy, oversized sack of chum..."

Michael James Watson

Expecting some kind of retort, something to bring Vek over to the fight, the leader starts to lay hands on Alvah. Alvah's warfare is vastly far beyond the sailor's so she sees the move and is able to deliver her strike with precision, accuracy, and force. The man's head snaps to the side with a startling CRACK and the side of it appears pulped as he drops dead to the ground. The group behind him look on in shock, turns, and flees. Vek is by her side, saying, "OK, Just a suggestion. A bar fight is something one does with people you might want to have be customers some day. We'll work on it. Though I must say, that CRACK will give you a tough reputation." Vek kneels and casts a magery low order spell of healing and regeneration. Twisting his neck back in place, the spell heals the bone first. Pulling a small vial from his pouch he pours it into the corpse's mouth restoring enough hit points for him to return to life. The spell fixes the rest though Vek pinches the nose so while healed it retains a disctive bent sideways look. He leaves massive facial bruises, and a painfully crooked neck to heal normally. Picking the man up and slipping him into a chair he says, "Grustov, Grustov, you know you can't talk to my girls like that? Didn't Minnow give you a fishhook scar for slapping her around? Come by my place and I'll set ya up with someone you'll like who won't crush your head, ok?" The man looks aware but dazed and conjused... Vek looks to Alvah, "So, lets go sail...SEE YA, Goerge!!" He exits, stage left.

Amber Bronkhorst

Alvah looks a bit disappointed she had really thought this guy could take a beating. Seeing Vek step in she hangs her tankard on the side of her belt again and watches with crossed arms to the soon ex-corpse. With a slight grin on her face she says "well this certainly feels like a deja vu. i really though this guy would be tougher then this... i can't help it they are so freaking fragile." When Vek is done with fixing Grustov she waves with a big smile to Grustov. "Sorry, thought you were made of tougher stuff." She then happily walks after Vek. "Sounds great! " She has a happy bounce in her step.

Michael James Watson

He takes her out happily, to the sailboat. She sees two swabbies climb out and talk to vek. They seem to have set the boat up while the were out walking. Climbing in Vek goes through the run of getting the boat sailing. He is clearly an expert. After a couple hours of sailing out into the deep purple sea away from the harbor he drops anchor and gets out heavy fishing poles. After some conversation about sport fish, that he is hoping to catch shark. "My world is close to Chaos. So odd things happen. Magic is not common, and is for the most part its the province of stories, old wives tales, and legend. But there are a few known wizards on the world and I am one of them. Physically the people are closer to Human in stability, not Chaosians. We don't need to break peoples necks. A casual light swing would have knocked him to the ground. We will see how he handles things next time but let try not to kill him again. This world is in the Ang Ri sway but the people are not as tough as the Ang Ree. We may sail into Ang Ri. Its a world with a lot to recommend it. I have some sporting interest there and maybe you would be interested in it too. As for the next bar fight, remember, more slap and wrist, less crack and hip. Alvah sits mostly out of the way unless she needs to help or hold on to things. She might ahve sailed with her father but that had been a while ago and this is not hte same boat. While sailing she just enjoys the scents the wind and the beauty of the purple watery surroundings. After the talk of fishing she listens to him talk about the world she has a slight regretful look on her face. she clicks her tongue. "Yeah i just forgot to pull punches... last real fight i was in was with Aztilios and i could go all out there. It was a nice crack though...." Rubbing her neck she looks sideways at Vek "Last time i forgot to pull punches i killed two gusy so... it is an improvement.. They got better too.. dad fixed them.. sort of. Ang Ri... i have heard of it before i think, probably from you. never been there. " She laughs "obviously but then again i have not been in more places then that i have. But why do you think i might be intrested in that place? what would be there for me? "

"The Warrior Core and Lord Gladiator Association. I drop by every so often top keep my standings in place. I participate in the WCA & LGA on Gustevesdem too. I hear there is a tame one in the Dramaturge. Ang Ri uses the Blood Fight Rules; fight till one is knocked out, dead, or yields. Most fights end in yielding. They are violent there but not insane. And they have abundant magical healing . I am a Bond Gladiator but everyone knows i intend to take one of the 150 Lords of the Games seats. Maybe getting you onto the sands would be a good bit of exercise. I would have you test out as a Front Warrior first. Respectable. From there its Rank Warrior before the Gladiator ranks.. " "Of course, today i am battling sharks, and drinking and testing out your passions on the waters"

Hearing about the WCA and the LGA she raises an eyebrow and looks to Vek contemplating his words a bit. With a content smile she looks out over the water. "Gladiatorial fights. hmmm you know, that might be a good idea dear. blowing of steam in a more controlled area and with that purpose is always better. The urge for fighting and causing a bloodbath will stick with me no matter what. better to put it to some use. Maybe i'll fuck things up less frequently. Maybe i should do the same with finding aplace to dance to now and then return. Though with dancing i won't screw things up as much. So fighting competitively, sounds... fun and like you said a good exercise." She turns fully to Vek and traces a soft finger over his cheekbone and jawline. "Test my passions on the waters hm? " Her finger resting under his chin, she leans in closer, looking with a playful spark in her eyes into Vek's. "You mean like this?" Her voice soft and sensual. Her lips nearly touching his, she pauses for a moment. Alvah then quickly pulls back releasing his chin and sitting next to him as if nothing happened gesturing to the heavy duty fishingpoles. "Or do you mean fishing and sailing. " Her tone from sensual to a neutral question. Though the playful twinkle still in her eyes and her lips slightly curled in a teasing smile.
