Miyuki had been only a little girl when her parents brought her with them to XCOM base when they both got hired for the project. As such she grow up looking at all the wonder of alien tech being studied and replicated by humanities best scientist and engineer. This experience shapes her fascination with all thing technological. She still remember clearly the excitement that permeate the entire base as the first Psi-lab construction is completed. She being one of the people that are detected as having high chance of being psionically active and undergoes the awakening process along with the volunteering XCOM soldier. She also remembers the dread she felt as she follows the surviving XCOM science and engineering division through the escape tunnel as the alien forces invades XCOM underground base.
