Sargandi the Reckless is a Shieldthane of the Narri clan and budding initiate of Helamakt.

Sargandi has dedicated his life to the pursuit of two things to near exclusion: war and women. And he has a natural aptitude with both. Socially he seeks to be admired and desired for his exemplary martial prowess. Combined with his reckless nature this has tended to keep him living on a razor's edge of exciting but deeply risky behaviour. He has never turned down a call to battle and only rarely to the bedroom.

And that's as far as I could get without hand-holding. I think I'll just go with a list until I understand all this. Not sure if spearthane is a thing in Glorantha, but I'm using it here to denote more of a focus on fighting with a spear instead of a sword, or whatever. I'm kind of at a loss where to go next, as each piece of character creation seems bound up in impenetrable Gloranthan lore. The Sartar book says to pick a few charms, spells, or talents... not sure about those. But I want to include something like playing the pipes or flute, or the equivalent.

The perfect defeat of an enemy for Sargandi involves a successful single combat demonstrating his superiority on the battlefield followed by an evening spent sneaking into that selfsame enemies bedroom. Fortunately he saves this particular dual victory for enemy tribes. Mostly.

I think Sargandi might be roughly the same age as Jargaran, maybe 5 years older than Kaveh and Roan, and he's one of the chieftain's elite bodyguards. What do you think of that idea?

Tusk Riders are hateful, murdering bandits. They fight for plunder and human sacrifice. They should be entreated with only as a last resort and it is usually best to ambush and kill them. They always kill their hostages, sacrificing them to their evil demons.
