Alchemists. Favoured by: Ascending Ones. Advantage: The Ascending Ones combine both internal and external alchemy, using their bodies to transmute poisonous elixirs into sweet water. While the Ascending One's make everything poisonous for philosophical reasons, they can use a far richer verity of ingredients than Alchemists who must make their elixirs safe to drink. Reduce the required ingredients for any formulae by one, the Ascending One knows of a far more available, yet poisonous, substitution.

Because this technique is a pretty unusual idea (intentionally taking poisons?!) and hard to learn without seriously harming oneself unless you have a good teacher, it is nearly unknown outside the Conspiracy.

Blood Sorcery. Favoured by the Canite Heresy. Advantage: The Canite Herasy know a unique variant of Theban Sorcery, it has one Theme "Denial" which encompasses any effect which would harm a Vampire. The ironic thing is that this incredibly potent anti-vampire weapon lies in the hands of the people who hate Vampires the most, and they don't even realise it. Vanishingly few Canites both to experiment with their own powers, instead not thinking of it as anything but a tool to fight their ancient foe. Nevertheless, if they did experiment they would realise that the thimbles provided by the Messengers let them use canite blood instead of sacraments. Canite blood being somehow sacred is another reference to the strange MM, Canite and Lucifuge ties in Hunter Cannon. I'd let the other two's blood be used as well, but the Lucifuge would be extra potent, at the risk of Derangements like Castagion gives.

Wyrd Sorcery. Favoured By: The Office of the Lord Stweards. Advantage: The stodgy conservative Stewards might be an odd place to find the chaotic Wyrd Sorcery, but the Stewards have long standing ties to witch lineages that stretch back to their founding. They don't use witchcraft much, but when they do their long standing ties to ancient contracts can mitigate Twists just like a Pledge. So long as the Steward is using magic in service to their duties they can mitigate Twists by half Status, rounding up. The Arrangement Sealing the Deal works just like a Pledge for mitigating Twists, but this does not stack with the Status bonus.
 +
 +
The Lord Stewards were intentionally written as having the same powers as the Fae, but with vastly different attitudes towards it. This extends the idea to Wyrd Sorcery

Promethian Mad Science. Conspiracy: MI18. Advantage: MI18 can give what so many mad scientist desperately crave: Funding without expectations of Sanity. Mad Scientists working for MI18 can buy dots of Laboratory at half price. The real benefit however is that they have legal protection for minor crimes (and in an emergency, major crimes). However if they work for MI18 they must demonstrate that they are not a danger to themselves or others, else they will be transported to an asylum laboratory. Mad scientists being what they are, most end up in an asylum, but free board, cleaning and catering with an ensuit lab is many mad scientists idea of paradise.
