Chiyoko transfered to school in Shinohara from Shibaishi, another city, at the beginning of the 2nd year of high school. She keeps mostly to herself and seems to have a quiet intensity to her. She'll respond politely if people talk to her, but she won't do anything to keep the conversation going. She's not a member of any clubs, and leaves school as soon as she can each day.

Besides that, she's a little odd. She has very pale blond hair, but doesn't appear to bleach it. Her most noticeable feature might be her blood red eyes. She doesn't wear colored contacts, otherwise the teachers would have made her remove them, so they must be natural. Maybe she's part foreigner? When she's spotted around town outside of school hours, she seems to prefer gothic lol<!--avoiding spam filter!-->ita fashions, mainly black dresses.

When they were children they used to play together every summer, and kept in touch when they were apart. They view themselves as almost sisters. She's a bit worried about her, though. Nodoka is a friend of Yuna as well.

|While wandering around Shinohara, shortly after she arrived, she discovered an old woman who spends her days sitting in a folding chair under a busy highway overpass, feeding the birds. She claims that one day a strange creature turned her husband into a bird, so she wants to make sure he gets fed. Her name is Kubota Tamie, but Chiyoko usually just calls her Grandmother. Tamie lives in a tiny apartment near the overpass and has invited Chiyoko over for tea and cookies a few times. Somehow Chiyoko feels a sense of kinship with the lonely old woman.

Her Nightmare is usually a seemingly endless field of dry dusty earth peppered with jagged rocky outcroppings. On the surface of the outcroppings are the silhouettes of people, like the ones at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. But it is not lifeless, here and there small yellow flowers manage to grow, strange bat-winged birds circle high overhead, and mouse-like lizards scamper in the shadows of the rocks. The sky is a steel gray, cold, and sun-less, but there is still light as if it were noon. A constant wind blows across the desolate landscape.
*[Hex] '''Mark of Oblivion''': With naught but a destructive wish and a word, Sable Dragoon causes a small black spiral to appear on her enemy's body. The spiral slowly devourers their life, growing larger as it does. Should she wish to hurry their descent into nothingness she can strengthen the mark, causing it to grow faster.
*[Blast Strike] '''Scythe of Oblivion''': She swings her blade in a wide arc, sending a huge crescent of nothingness flying toward the enemy.

She closes the fingers of her left hand. A matching circle appears beneath her target. As she does, eight pillars, black as blackest night rise up around the target or target area. Iron walls erupt from between the pillars, connecting them. Strands of black steel weave themselves into a dome above the octagon, sealing in the area. Those entrapped experience what it is like to be utterly forgotten for an eternity. Then, the prison shatters, releasing them, if they survived.
