Jalai is a troll shaman of great age and renown. He is rarely seen but stories of him are a Shaema favorite. None know his exact age but most of those alive have heard stories about him on their grandfather's knee.
Jalai spends long times in a state of hibernation, his soul traveling the spirit planes. So it is quite an event when he visits a settlement. He is a bit under 3 meters tall, pale skinned and bulky. His whole body is covered with fetishes of wood, shell and herb, all hanging from dozens of straps tied around his limbs, torso and head. Plates of bark cover his privet parts.
