Kolto Silverarrow

Kolto Silverarrow was a pivotal character in Tashyn's history. He is the founder of the Silver Arrow Empire and marked as one of the heroes who put an end to the Yorg Dominance Era.

Early Life

Kolto Stronghand was born in 1047 YD, son of Babasko Stronghand, a farmer of little importance.

He enlisted with the Danesian Army at a young age and was part of a front line battallion fighting against the Yorgs during the Yorg Dominance Era.

Heroic Battle

During the winter of 1065 YD, Kolto's battallion set off to reinforce allies south of the Ebony Moutains. To avoid ambush by road, the battallion took a mountain trail high in the Ebony Mountains.
By sheer luck, the battallion's scouts encountered an enemy outpost that contained high profile targets. High Chieftain Gr-uu Anak was among one of them.
The battallion met heavy resistance and incurred many losses. During a fall back manuever, Kolto's friend was being fired at by a Yorg archer with silver streaking arrows. Kolto then launched a javelin at the assailant, killing him, and carved a path with his sword to the location of the body to retrieve the bow. His act inspired courage in his company, who created a defensive ring around him.
Kolto fired at enemy positions with the magical bow, later named "Riddermark", with surprisingly efficiency, although Kolto was not a marksman. He fired at the enemy's Elite Guard, killing some of them and finally launching an arrow that pierced through the High Chieftain's heart.
Witnesess state that Kolto was "protected by Angels" and arrows could not reach him, also none of the companions that formed the defensive ring fell, furthering the claim of divine assistance.
The death of Gr-uu Anak and the heroic acts

As Emperor

Kolto became the first emperor of the Silver Arrow Empire, which was named after the arrow that struck and killed Gr-uu Anak.
