Japan, the near future.
Once renowned as a peaceful nation with a low crime rate, things have suddenly, rapidly degenerated. Government and police corruption, yakuza wars, and a flood of illegal weapons onto the streets mean that chaos is running rampant, and Tokyo is the epicentre of the violence.
