Introduction

NYSRPG (Not Your Standard Role Playing Game) is a rpg system under development.

NYSRPG (nys for short) is heavily based on other famous systems, namely Dungeons&Dragons, GURPS and Daemon (Brazillian)

Main Concepts

During nys development I will follow 4 Golden Rules:

  1. The Rule of Fun. The system cannot impose rules that decreases the fun of the game.
  2. The Rule of Simplicity. The rules must be as simple as possible.
  3. The Rule of Fantasy. The system must be good simulating a low/medium fantasy setting.
  4. The Rule of Generality. The system must offer to the players as many options as possible, both in character creation and during the game session.
