This seemingly quiet coastal town in downstate NJ is known for three things: The ailing Washington Mall, victim of modern shopping trends; Suncrest, the local amusement park that hasn't had a proper update to a ride in at least 15 years; and being just far away enough from anywhere "big" to make getting there and back awkward without a car of your own.
