Darian came aboard as any other redshirt, as someone who thought that the chaos of the Forgotten Freedom would be better than what the Law would do to him.
Since then, after observing the power of the E.B.N.E.'s, Darian has devoted himself, body and soul, to their service, believing (partially correctly) that they are the creators and rulers of the world.
He has plans to start a Church devoted to the E.B.N.E.'s, and is utterly disrespectful to anyone that he believes does not have the "favor of the Entities".
