Marc Boone
Marc Boone runs the nitrate plant in Muir's Angelic Wetlands. The plant is owned by New Byzantium Chemicals (NBC) in Londinium, but on Muir Boone is the man. He controls the payroll, labor, supplies, everything necessary to run the plant. As a result he also controls the Starport, the post office and numerous other utilities. Angelic Wetlands is a company town, and Boone is the boss.
