A star system located about a third of the way between the Calixis and the Ixaniad Sector closer to the former, placed upon the doorstep of the Talderen Nebula keeping a path directly from Footfall a difficult navigational feat. The system is mostly composed of a few gas giants on the outer reaches, a series of asteroid belts and a single rocky world near the medium sized yellow sun. Until recently the system was used as a pirate base, harassing shipping coming out of the Calixis sector in one of the few places the Battlefleet would never think to look, with plenty of hiding places that only the most finely tuned Mechanius scanners can penetrate and enough raw materials to keep a small fleet operational.

Gaquel

The single fully formed solid planet in the system, on the inside edge of the Terrestial zone, but with no atmosphere and being bombarded by radiation and the odd asteroid impact means that live never stood a chance in forming naturally. Terraforming could be possible but would require massive investments in time, thrones, and air to get it to supporting life in the next few centuries which would also require planetary defense weapons to be scattered throughout the planet to deal with the extinction level rocks that drift too close on a regular basis.

The Vernail Asteroid Disc

The largest body within the Ypress system made up of trillions of tons of rock making up a good half of the matter orbiting the sun. Every imaginable mineral can be found from the most common to the exotic, though a particular density in adamantium, deuterium, and viranium make it very attractive to miners but also makes it extremely difficult to locate any sort of ship hiding within the twisting rocks. It is the main reason that Isabella's Rock has been so successful, being just a hollowed out asteroid with low heat signature, made it all but invisible to any but the most diligent of surveyors.

Reihart

A light red gas giant found on the very edge of the asteroid disc with over two dozen captured satellites that drift too close to the planet's gravity well which has caused it's axis to wobble with the constant gravitational changes. Small as giants go, and the treacherous orbit has kept system settlers away for the more easily pillaged fair.

Pierroix

The largest of the gas giants in the system, that is a major source for plasma fuel and reactionaries with the odd small automated station siphoning the precious resources from the limitless depths of the world.

Javiert

A white gas giant that has a massive storm that roams the surface of the world giving it the look of an evil eye that many navigators could swear follow their ship as it passes in system. Despite the ill omen as the 'Evil Eye', it is relatively unremarkable world and resource collection is simple as long as you are not in the area the grand storm is in, which prevents any permanent orbital stations.
