Ratko, Jurno and Darin are Dwarves from the Lemini clan. They came to Mal'rock to be the first dwarves to trade there and establish a profitable relationship with the Esuli and Straža.

The dwarves talk quietly amongst themselves.
Ratko doesn't see why they should fight here. Chancing their lives here is not wise. What if they die and leave their her and wife to tend to themselves. They should offer a few goats to the attackers in exchange for letting them take a barge home.
Jurno sees the wisdom in this, but he doesn't want to jump to conclusions. He likes Mal'rock and a trading friendship appeals to him. He can't be sure the gnolls will keep their word, and there are still the dozens of crocodiles to pass through.
