Background

Anastasya, or Stasi as her friends call her, is the Professor of XenoArcheology at Nexus Interstellar University, who because of her Commission in the ConStel Marine Reserve, keeps getting called back to active duty to help decode, research or rebuild ancient writings and machines. She was a 1st Lt. in the CSM R&D area of the force before she retired to the Reserves, so she could go into her chosen field.

She got her epithet when she was still a teenager, because of her "Times of Sparky Madness" when she designs, builds, rebuilds or just plain slaps together components for any number of scientific items of many different things. Her Jetpack is a design of her own that was given to Sakura Aerospace as part of their bid to build it for the CSM. Hers though, has been "modified" by Stasi to have better, longer flight time, be more robust and even more compact than usual. Her other gear have been either built or "modified" by her.

Stasi doesn't mind when they call her back into active duty because it means either a new puzzle to solve or a new thing to research and build, both of which can invoke the MadGirl to emerge, but she does wish that they would give her more than 12 hours usually. Because as she puts it "It plays merry hell with one's Social Life to leave without saying goodbye."

Description

Stasi is 5' 8" tall with a slightly curvy but very athletic build. She is fair skinned but usually is well tanned in her arms and face. Her hair is red with lighter highlights and deep blue eyes. She prefers boots and pants with a leather jacket over any kind of skirt or dress. She is currently carries messenger bag at all times with two small sets of tools for her Archeology and her Inventing and repairing kits. There are also 3 journals held shut with elastic bands and writing implements inside them. They are a black cover, a blue cover and a green cover. The green is for her xenoarcheology notes and maps she jots down. The black is for her ideas for inventions and modifications she thinks of. And no one has ever seen inside the blue one.
