My general philosophy on the die rolling in this game...do what you need to do, be as outrageous as you need to be, and we'll play it out in a truly cinematic fashion. Don't sweat the little things, I'm good with rolling dice. If you want to roll the 2d6, that's cool as well.

1. Pick a character type.
 +
2. Distribute 20 points into stats. Stats are Agility, Dexterity, Strength, Perception, intelligence, and Willpower.
 +
3. Determine Derived Stats, Initiative (PER+AGL), Save (STR+WILL)(resilient to bodily harm), and Shrug (STR+WILL), which the "John Wayne" ability to shrug off damage.
 +
4. Take your one (1) Destiny point. This lets you reroll a skill check or wound save. You get it back in the next scenario, but if you use it in a comically appropriate or heroic manner, you might just get another one. Might. Don't bet on it.
 +
5. Distribute 30 points into skills. No skill is unimportant, so choose wisely. No more than 4 points in a single skill, and if you have to pick a category, then do so - but fit it to your character concept.
 +
6. Choose assets, liabilities and behavioral tags. (see the list. please keep it playable.)
 +
7. Fill out the Space Corps Personnel file.
 +
8. Create a history and relationships. That means talk to other players.
 +
9. Gear up.
