Notes

  • [done] Choose Culture
  • [done] Assign Attributes: Divide 65 points among SIZ, DEX, STR, CON & APP. Each must be rated from 5 to 21 at this point.
  • [done] Record Starting Skills
  • Choose beginning Trait values: you may choose any value so long as the pairs add up to 20.
  • [done] Choose beginning Passion values: Average value is 15 in the 4 common Passions: Loyalty (Lord), Love (Family), Honor, Hospitality.
  • Make individual choices: You may choose a skill that is rated 0 but not one rated - at this step.
  • [done] -Choose any one skill and change its value to 15.
  • [done] -Choose any three non-combat skills and change their value to 10.
  • [done] -Make 4 choices among Skills, Traits, Passions and Attributes. If you choose a skill increase its value by 5. Otherwise increase its value by 1. No skill may be increased above 15. No Attribute may be raised above 21. Don;t bother to raise Traits of Passions since Shaped chargen let's you choose those values at whichever levels you want already so its a waste.
  • [done] -Add ten points divided however you like among your non-combat skills. No skill may be increased above 15. (Awareness and Intrigue)
  • [done] Apply Family Characteristic, surprisingly deductive (Page 45)
  • [done] Apply Father's Class Bonus (Pages 51, 52, 73, Banneret Knight. All but skill points.)

Family

Arboria really didn't care for her family sending her off to the convent at a young age. She was certain the rooms were for older, more reserved, ladies. Still, she tried to do her best to meet father's directives.

Of course, all bets were off when the group she was traveling with were attacked by raiders and the goods, along with Arboria, were carried off. At that point she did start to have a decent prayer life. She also gave one of the brigands a knee in the groin for his wandering hands.

Fortunately a troupe of horsemen caught up with the raiders before they could escape. Arboria appreciated being rescued by the handsome young Roman Eques named Gwilim. They talked often, as the trip was interrupted by weather. Eventually both decided the whole chastity bit was overrated.

They have married, just in time for the family to start. Arboria worships freely as does her husband. They have traveled a bit and their son has seen several parts of the world with her parents. Now, however, he is a growing young man and seeking his one way in the world.
