DC 16 Nature: Their poison is well sought after. It is used by hunters to disorient their pray, and by shamans as a ingredient for potions used in rituals. The younger the salamander is, the stronger the poison.

DC 18 Nature: the poison can be harvested in two ways. One is killing the salamander and skinning it. The skin is then dried and made into powder. The second way is milking the salamander by stroking it under it's chin. The salamander then produces the poisonous mucus which is easily scraped of with a dull knife edge and transferred into a vial. Drying the mucus into powder is preferable because the poison doesn't spoil. This procedure doesn't kill the salamander. Killing them is frowned upon in most of [[Shaema]].

DC 19 Nature: if it's belly is touched, it's ribs pierce it's own skin as well as the attackers. This guarantees the poison entering the attackers bloodstream.
