Kaylob
Kaylob Pavelim was once a small, dwarrow chaneller, but is now a gnoll.
Kaylob is a Pathwalker of the Warg heroic path.
As a chaneller, Kaylob has a familiar. This familiar is an owl namded Zipponra. As a druid, Kaylob also has an animal companion. This animal is a [riding dog] named Hyno.
Kaylob first encountered the Scrollbearers in Black Rock Cavern, just after the group was ambushed by an orc named Bashili and a dru-gal and it's minions. The Scrollbearers had followed tracks leading to the cavern after discovering that one of their own, Shevinu, had disappeared in the night. Kaylob and his allies helped to clean up the last of the goblins during the end of the ambush.
Following this encounter, Kaylob volunteered to help the group find their former companion, until it became evident that the nearby city of Shadowhold was in danger.
Kaylob continued on with the Scrollbearers as the group descended deep under the mountain, to the massive Ash Cavern. After sounding the Hammerhorn, the group returned to Shadowhold, to find Volsung holding council on the edges of town. Just then, a cave troll and a small but powerful group of orcs burst through the gates and attacked the congregation.
Without much of a chance, Kaylob's crushed and bloodied body fell against the gate of the wall. His friends, however, defeated the enemies and saved as much of Kaylob's body as they could. The wise woman Unus then reincarnated Kaylob's spirit into the body of a gnoll.
