Born in 1920 in Fort Worth. He has a long history. 

He joined The USA Marines in 1937. He served in the infantry throughout WWII. 

While after the war there were opportunities he transferred to the Military Police in 1945 and was in Germany till 1949. 

In 1949 he transferred to Travis Air Force Base as a combat instructor and military police officer with a rank of Staff Sergeant. He retired in December, 1957 just barely hanging on to the rank of Master Sergeant.
