Princess Magnificent

HISTORY

Princess Magnificent’s history as a person is relatively simple if turbulent: she is one of the Emperor’s many children, albeit a moderately favored one due to her good looks, social graces, and fine education. Many suitors have attempted to woo her, but she spurned them all - either they were not handsome, not properly mannered, too inbred, or just plain after her money. Tired of it all she and her handmaidens retreated to the Jade Dragon Highschool to continue her education without any disruption from these bothersome males. Except that waiting for her there were three rather irreverent men. Ever prone to drawing hasty conclusions and dedicating herself to righting perceived wrongs, the Princess started being a royal pain in the neck. Particularly for that one smartass who always seemed to have a witty response to her verbal barbs: Torrent of Serenity. Recently a most peculiar thing happened though. Her obsession and wrath for Torrent mixed with an amazing outcome after he casually stole her first kiss; she has fallen for him like a brick and the two have become lovers.

Being of noble blood the Princess has a rare bloodline called a Tactical Legacy. Families who descend from mighty generals and conquerers often display these unique abilities that affect the entire battlefield. Her Heaven Rains Wisdom ability allows her to pool together the Rivers of any who accepts her as a commander. Individual people can still decide what they put into the River, but once there it is up to her when and where to flow out dice.

DESCRIPTION

Her looks are... retconned. At first I imagined her to be a rather uppity brunette noble who wore classic chinese dresses, but time has organically evolved my perception of her. Especially after she became a fiery ally instead of a zealous villain. I’ve come to realize that she’s essentially a replica of Haruka Armitage, and so that’s what she looks like now. http://www.my-zhime.net/character/haruka.html

NOTES

1. “Princess Magnificent” is a name taken from the Exalted RPG, a Deathlord in particular. (The full name of this Deathlord is longer though.)

2. “Heaven Rains Wisdom” is likewise from Exalted, it’s a Fair Folk Charm.

3. This character was never planned to go into the campaign, but voh decided he wanted a Rival. He has since lost that drawback but I’m glad to have her on board. Nobody else has provided us with this much entertainment.
