Background

Marmadas Proudfoot is what we can call an ordinary hobbit of good family who enjoys cooking, smoking, reading good tales and chatting with his neighbors. However, one night after a good diner with a lot of alcohol, Marmadas ended up making a bet he would have never done with all his mind. He bet with his friends that "if Bilbo Baggins could have gone on an adventure and come back to tell the tale, he, Marmadas Proudfoot, could also do it." The next morning, the poor hobbit had no choice but to realize the big mistake he has made. Not wanting to loose his honour and his fortune, Marmadas packed his backpack, grabed the short sword that had spend many generations on his wall and left for the Wilderland, where he hoped to find his adventure.
