The World Tree/Gielel

Summary

Gielel is the goddess of luck within the World Tree campaign setting. According to ancient texts, Gielel (alongside Hasdum) forged the world from the remaining pieces of Katasis and Vareus. It is said that Gielel "collected the pieces and forged them within her hands, only to find what she had created the four elements of the world", which was then populated by Ra-Orn's and Althum's creations.

Origin

During the battle between Vareus and Katasis, it is said that Vareus "cut out the heart of Katasis and cast into oblivion" where it was able to grow and recreate itself. Katasis, with her final moments, separated Vareus in his moment of glory and pride into his three true selves (Althum, Lolth, and Gaguar). Gielel is said to have been created from the hair of Katasis.
