Thunder Devil is considered one of the Top Ten Sinners. Something of a recluse, he respects only strength and the will to power; something that would not mark him out particularly, if not for his willingness to cast aside the bounds of man, Emperor and Heaven in its pursuit.
He challenges (and invariably destroys) any warrior that he deems worth his skills, and scorns the rest; His personal philosophy admits on conflict and the survival of the fittest, and leaves no room for compassion or humanity. These and other corrupt inspirations have let him to devise the infamous corrupt transcendent style Instant Hell Murder.
2+ Status: Somehow you have impressed the Thunder Devil with your single-minded obsession, and he has taken you as his student. If you survive his hellish training, you will surely be granted power, but at what cost?
5 Disadvantage: If you are recognised as the student of one of the Top Ten Sinners, you may be met with fear and hatred. Noble Xia may even be tempted to slay you out of hand, "just in case". When this causes you trouble, gain 1 Destiny. - -5 This is your first or second disadvantage.
0 Bonus: You get a one-time 2-Destiny discount when buying one of the following as a secondary External Style: Destiny Cloud Fist, Subtle Force, or Murderous Shadows.
0 Bonus: If you have Heaven's Thunder as your primary style you can learn all of its techniques rather than one of each level.
2 Technique: You learn the Lashing Thunder Stance. Your blows lash and arc like unpredictable lightning, and sparks jump from your fists to extend your reach. Your unarmed attacks count as being Flexible. This allows you to claim the weapon bonuses of both and to combine different types of styles. If you know multiple Secrets that improve your unarmed fighting, you can only use one at a time; choose at the start of each round which one you’ll use. This technique requires you to know Heaven's Thunder style.
5 Technique: You learn the Lightning Storm technique. If you're in the Destiny Cloud Fist stance and use any Heaven’s Lightning technique that lets you use the Shock effect, you have a +5 bonus to that check. This bonus is Lore-derived, and so it stacks with Kung Fu.

10 Victory: You have gained the opportunity to learn the corrupt transcendent technique Instant Hell Murder. This will require a significant personal sacrifice, to impress the Thunder Devil with your single-minded ruthlessness and corruption. Destiny spent on buying this secret counts towards your Corrupt Chi cultivation.
